What this task is
Tutors pick practice problems that target each student's weak spots and plan the order and timing of review, so limited practice time goes where it helps most.
How AI replaces it
Adaptive learning systems build a knowledge map from each student's answers, then push problems at the right difficulty with spaced review. These spread through online education and learning tablets from 2022, and personalized practice is expected to be fully system-driven around 2027.
What stays human
Tutors interpret the system's diagnosis, adjust learning goals with students and parents, and step in personally when a student's motivation drops or progress stalls despite extra practice.
