This requires strategic judgment under incomplete information; today AI mainly offers outcome predictions and comparable cases. AI is expected to take a deeper role in strategy simulation from 2030, but probably not to handle most of this work until around 2040.
What stays human
Lawyers still need to grasp what clients really want, read opponents and react in the moment, using AI as a tool for scenario analysis and data.
