AI auto-clipping
What this task is
Operators comb through hours of stream recordings to find highlights, cut them into short videos and redistribute them across platforms to bring viewers back to the live room.
How AI replaces it
From 2022, AI auto-clipping tools began using speech, visuals and engagement data to find highlights, then trim and caption them automatically. By 2026, livestream clipping is mostly AI-done.
What stays human
People choose which clips are worth publishing, improve titles, captions and thumbnails, and confirm that the footage is cleared for copyright and meets each platform's content rules.
