What this task is
Producing large batches of promotional banners in many sizes and copy variations for different platforms and ad slots. It is high-volume, deadline-driven and highly repetitive work.
How AI replaces it
From 2021, smart design templates auto-resized layouts and swapped copy and product images, and generative AI added backgrounds and variants in bulk. By 2025, bulk banners were largely produced automatically.
What stays human
Designers create the master visual and the template rules, let the system produce the volume, then spot-check the output for brand consistency and detail errors.
